Billy falls. He falls for a long time, unconscious and unaware, time passing as he drifts then finally begins to waken.
He flails as he awakens and this only sends him falling in new directions, through new wonders and horrors. Monsters, and darkness that moves, things that even his mind cannot grasp, and other darknesses, flash past his mind.
He tries to see some reason in all of it, but there is no reason in the darker dimensions of chaos, where eternity's reality is thinnest. The horrors slowly increase and there is only so much his mind can take, before he faints, driven unconscious.
There is no real or true direction to his fall, except that it is away from the reality he had been in, away from Earth, and the Rock, and the Wizard and the Spectre.
He falls through dimensions of beauty and darkness and horror and shame. He falls across time and space.
He falls through Eternity, literally.
But even Eternity has an ending, and it is a place which was familiar to Billy.
A place called Milliways.
